"Was there for my surprise 40th Anniversary with 35 people and can't say enough good things about the food and the staff. The appetizers were all delicious,served hot and plentiful. Chicken franchise was tender and very favorable. The staff was excellent ,they did such a great job of always checking if people needed anything. You never had to wait for anything. Kudos to the management for having such a great staff and making this such a special night.Would highly recommend for a casual dinner or an event. Beautiful scenery and the restaurant is so cozy and comfortable."

"We had a great experience at Housatonic House. Marisa was our server and she was excellent. She was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the wings and they were fried perfectly. The calamari was very good with the fried cherry peppers! We also had the burger with the homemade Tahitian sauce and it was so good. We had the chicken scarperillo and the sauce was amazing. We look forward to our next visit!"

"I had my bridal shower at the Housatonic House this past June. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was impeccable. We had the most beautiful room with floor to ceiling glass windows to see the beautiful view of the water. We had room for everything we wanted to do such as have a large prize table, table for party favors, and table for gifts and cake. Everyone that we came in contact with from booking to planning to executing the day was WONDERFUL. They were always so pleasant and accommodating. At the end of the shower, the owner himself carried boxes and boxes of decorations and supplies out to our cars on an 85 degree day. He was absolutely the kindest gentleman. All of the servers were incredibly kind and attentive as well. Ris was so wonderful to us as well as our family and friends. We all had such a great time at the Housatonic House. They made my bridal shower incredibly special, and we are forever grateful."
