"Nice place with affable and helpful staff. But the food is suboptimal at best. We were a party of four. One had pepperoni pizza .. which was fine but chewy crust and not fully cooked cheese. Another had a chicken sandwich which was very good. Third had fig pizza, which was too sweet (honey added?) And chewy, thick crust. Fourth had the "salad pizza" which was perhaps the worst pizza we've ever had. "Tasteless" was the consensus. We suggest that this item be removed from the menu. It's horrible. Crust thick and chewy Rather than light and airy like a good pizza crust should be. Even if thick, it should have air. There was no sauce at all (I must have missed this on the description in the menu) ... And there were small bits of chicken and some cheese but rather little ... And 4 handfuls of fresh arugula piled atop with some balsamic glaze drizzled on it. We really tried to like it. Even brought the leftover home .. but ultimately it ended up in the compost bin. Other reviews suggest that the pizza is good, so perhaps there was a problem on the day we were there? Maybe the dough was off? We all felt the crust of our pizzas was too heavy and lacked the lightness that a good pizza crust has ... As if the dough didn't rise properly. Summary : 1/4 of our entrees was very good. 2/4 were ok. 1/4 was terrible. Nice people and I hope they get back in the groove with their pizza. Given that it's a bit of a flagship menu item, it was very disappointing to us that it was so bad."
"We chose 51 Park because it was right off 90East(like 5 min). The place itself was very quaint and had a rustic feel to it. Had a full bar and a comfortable dining area. Our server, Kayla, was friendly and accommodating. The food came very quickly and was absolutely delicious. My husband had the "anything gose" beer and that was really delicious too. Would definitely recommend."
"Warm. Cozy. And great food! On a chilly Monday we wandered into 51 Park not knowing what to expect. The old house that houses the restaurant is nestled between a bank that is under construction and a grocer that closed. We were delighted though to find a fireplace warming the space and creating a great atmosphere. The menu was full of many great sounding offerings and we were challenged to pick one. We opted for the chicken pot pie and the arugula and fig salad. Both were great choices. The fig salad was a good portion and included warm panko encrusted goat cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette - totally scrumptious. My spouse enjoyed the Chicken Pot Pie, a deconstructed version with a small rectangular pastry served on the side of the bowl to ensure the flavorful filling was not overwhelmed. There are several craft beers, including a few from their sister company Antimony. A selection of five or six desserts included warm apple dumplings, as well as bread pudding - again we found it difficult to choose, but choose we did. Hot bread pudding with a high quality vanilla ice cream made the meal a hit from start to finish. By the way, there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant, which is most easily accessed through the shopping plaza a couple of doors down the street."
"When we pulled in it was quite busy & smelled good. The service was very good, loved the outside seating as it was beautiful out. So my food though looked hood, but tasted somewhat off, my ribs were dry and was something that I’d taste at a cookout."
"Stopped in on our way back from Maine and can't wait to come back. There were many items on the menu I want to try. We sat on the front porch and Jade did a wonderful job of taking care of us. We started with the cheeseburger soup and it was great. I then had the hot honey sandwich and my wife had a salad with candied pecans and goat cheese. Both were very good. I finished up with the chocolate cake and ice cream and I was stuffed. Can't wait to come back."
