Salt Ponds Animal Hospital

"Love this place. They are working out of the former "Claws Jungle Salon." The building was constructed using high-end materials. The Italian marble and trim are still in place as well as the fireplace in the reception area. They kept the animal footprints on the ceiling. (Neat!) The staff and doctors are cordial and professional. My only issue was that I disagreed with the vet who said to only feed three ounces of wet food per day to my thirteen pound cat. That is contrary to every guideline found on the internet. The cat's weight has not gone up in the year since I adopted him. He needs 190 calories per day, not 97."

"Dropped off our pet that passed to be cremated...had said I wanted footprints. Upon return of the ashes no footprints were received. After two emails - they finally responded. They claim to have not been notified of the request nor did they see the note I put in with the her body - asking for prints and things to be said as she was put into the crematory chamber. This is heartbreaking...and unfixable."

"The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and comforting when it comes to my family's animal kingdom. Although routine checks are scheduled out far in advance, if your pet has a problem they are very quick."

"My dog had kennel cough.and we are new to the area. It was a Friday and I was worried that she may get worse over the weekend. I called early in the am and had an appointment by 1 pm. The staff was great and very accommodating. I will be using them for all of our veterinary needs."
