"We had an intimate 60 person wedding at Del Primo’s event room in September and we could not have asked for more! Mickey was so incredibly kind, patient and organized. He took so much of the wedding planning stress out of the equation! His staff went above and beyond for us and made the night so incredibly enjoyable. The food was delicious and our guests raved about it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!"
"Recently held a rehearsal dinner for 25. The room was large, yet warm and welcoming. The food was excellent!! The service was very attentive! Portions were substantial. All of our guests commented that if and when they are back in the Danbury area, they will come back for dinner! Mickey the manager was a pleasure to work with, making the entire event stress free!"
"Attentive service, fun atmosphere, and the food is top notch. I had the braised short ribs and they were the most tender I have ever experienced! The cheesecake is excellent too."
"We came here for the first time for dinner and had an excellent, relaxing experience with top-notch food, drinks, and service (thank you Nicole!). We started our tour of Italy with some apps including the arancini balls and the eggplant stack that includes whipped burrata and red pepper pesto! We sat outside enjoying one of the drink specials – the homemade sangria which was spectacular - while we listened to a great playlist coming from the patio speakers. The menu has a wide variety that will work for everyone, from Branzino with parsley pesto to Cacio-e-Pepe with truffle oil to Saltimbocca di Vitello with prosciutto and fontina cheese and a dozen other choices that all sound so inviting. The Bucatini Alla Bolognese (the pasta is a thick spaghetti noodle that is hollow) was outstanding – the pasta cooked perfectly, the Bolognese meaty and creamy and the portion generous. Equally spectacular as the food are the drink specials, which must be a great source of pride for what can only be skilled craftsman behind the bar. These expertly made drinks are uniquely creative and hit all the right flavor profiles that your senses usually only dream about. I was shocked to learn there is a house-made sambuca and was shocked at how smooth it was, ending with a finish that will leave a smile on your lips. Even if you normally don’t like sambuca with its anise flavor you must try this – yes it’s that good that you’ll love it. Speaking of drinks – on the dessert menu is a pick-3 flight of martinis with a selection including French, Key Lime, and many others. The flight is perfect for sharing with someone special while capping off a relaxing evening and great meal."
"The wife wanted to try a new place over the weekend on a Saturday, and so we did. The place is new, looks clean and fresh. Our waitress was very pleasant, and we enjoyed the bread at the table. Service was quick. We didn't really enjoy the food however. When we were searching Google for a new place I mentioned to the wife how the pictures of the food looked drab and "goulash-y", was when I had my doubts. Indeed our food was that. Fried mozzarella triangles, breading fully saturated with oil, and the accompanying dipping sauce also watery, where it wouldn't hold to the food was disappointing on the side of my appetizer. Her fried artichokes, while plentiful (whole plate) and she said tasted good, just looked bland and struggled to eat even half of them. Our mains: Penne al la vodka with shrimp, shrimps being a bit overcooked, and sauce being less creamy and more chunky tomato driven isn't what I'm looking for in an al la vodka. The veal tasted okay but again, very bland and unappetizing appearance. I didn't even think to take pictures to add to the review, since there was nothing really worth capturing about their appearances. :/ My drink was executed well, happy with it, as it came specifically as ordered."
