"Don't waste time applying unless you make 4x the required rent. Even then that might not be enough. I am disabled and can't work like a normal healthy person so my rent is taken care of. They said that's not proof of income and thats not enough. Full rent, paid for, by the VA, EVERY month guaranteed, and that's not acceptable. I understand having requirements but when your apartments are losing people by the 10s you shouldn't be picky, especially when you have guaranteed payments. The funniest part is they were okay with me applying until I mentioned I had a service animal then they sent me that 4x rent and said I can't apply cause the VA paying for my rent, again in full, isn't okay. Again, I'm bisabled and cannot work."
"Don’t waste your time. I applied 8 weeks ago after being told that there were plenty of units still available. I then heard absolutely nothing from them for the next 8 weeks. I called and emailed several times asking if I was still being considered, and she assured me that there were still units available because “a lot of applicants dropped out,” so I held out on applying elsewhere. Here we are at week 8 and I come to find out that they’re full and never planned on telling me. I’m pretty sure they just threw away my application because I was annoying them. Thanks to them I missed out on other apartments and can’t find an affordable place to live that meets my needs. They don’t seem to care about how this affects people."
