"We were paying weekly here. The sink leaked when we moved in. My better half fixed that issue. The owner walked in my room while my daughter and I were in bed, at 9 at night, he did not say a word and left. I did not know who he was until the following day when I asked the girl at the desk if someone else had a key to my room. The Wi-Fi was probably the worst I have used had to share my hot spot for my daughter to use her tablet. The driveway washed away, from a bomb cyclone. Then the toilet clogged, and started filling the shower. We were given a key to use a different rooms bathroom. I asked if we could get a discount for 1 week because of all of the issues. We were then told we had to move out on Christmas day with a child, and no where to go. Stephanie tried to help but the owner was adamant that we leave. Not to mention there is construction going on the whole time we were there, and it was barely quiet. This was a horrible heartbreaking experience. I absolutely can not believe what a Scrooge the owner was."

"The room was clean and the king bed was comfortable. The only thing the room did not have that I needed was a blow dryer, and the girl at Check in ( Melissa ) was pleasant and helpful…not put out when I asked for one. Great experience"

"1st visit, short visit to Sandy shore but frequent flyer to Misquamicut beach. This is a Motel style accommodations, as are all options in area but this motel is updated, modern, and ON the beach with a bar steps from your Clean, comfortable room. Party goers of all ages, as well as young families unite in Misquamicut. If you know you know. The front desk is staff by 2-3 very nice and helpful people, trying there best to clean and turnover rooms for a sold out hotel. As expected, they commit to a strict checkin/checkout policy. I only give 2 stars to set service expectations low because it’s a motel and they have limited staff wearing lots of hats. Can’t wait to plan our next trip! Thank you!"

"what a JOKE of a business. Their staff is untrained and incompetent in the hotel management. their best excuse " I'M new here!"...... same girl has been saying they are "new" for over a year now. They lie constantly and say their systems are down, when they are caught lying to their customers. The "new" employee in booking, told me I could bring my dog this weekend ! She was wrong, and I could not go on the trip. What kind of hotel staff doesn't know their own policies ? ....Good thing I didn't leave a deposit, because I was told that they would keep my deposit regardless of their mistake !!! Their "manager" or whoever claims they have been working their for (14!! ) years is was rude and unprofessional to me. She has no desire to help guest on the behalf of the motels mistakes and ignorance. DO NOT TRUST YOUR MONEY WITH SANDY SHORE MOTEL !!! THEY ARE AN UNTRUSTWORTHY ESTABLISHMENT AND THIER STAFF IS BEYOND IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK WITH !!! there are lots of great hotels in the westerly area. Do NOT go here unless you want to be at a loss of money and disrespected"

"My boyfriend and I stayed a few days and it was nice, beach was a bit crowded but once evening approached the beach cleared out fast. The Mob Bar located directly on the beach was my favorite part! Loved the staff and the drinks were really good!"
