"I recently dined at Ocha Thai & Japanese Cuisine in Stamford, CT, and was thoroughly impressed by the harmonious blend of Thai and Japanese flavors. "Lovely Thai restaurant in a quite corner just off Stamford's busy downtown. Owners put a lot of thought into creating an authentic ambiance inside through decor. Both Tom Yum and pad thai were decent."

"I was really looking forward to trying this place because we are desperate for good Thai in Stamford. But we had takeaway from here, and I should’ve known it wouldn’t be good just from the smell it had in my car. I literally said “why does it smell like dog food in here” not realizing we had the food in the back seat. We ended up throwing the entire pad Thai and baby back ribs away - the noodles were completely soggy and they tasted like dish water. The ribs smelled like bad, sour meat. The yellow curry was the most watered down I’ve ever seen, no texture or flavor, just watery yellow liquid. It had this awful, gooey chicken in it that was the same chicken in the tom kha soup - it seemed almost breaded? I can only imagine how long it was frozen for. The sushi was the only thing we ate, and it was tolerable at best. I feel bad posting this but it was honestly the worst take out meal we’ve ever had. Really, really disappointing. If you have a good Thai place in the area, please let me know."
