"REALLY GREAT food and some fun cocktails that they are always adding! Super cute decor and hosts good events! Seats are not comfortable and the service is awful. You’ll sit at a bar for 10-20 minutes before anyone comes to help. Once you’re helped, same amount of wait time if you need more water or drinks. Doesn’t matter if the place is packed or empty. Servers will hang around on their phones and not be attentive to customers."
"Moved to NY recently and took forever to find good pizza-only took going to CT (they do have NY locations though) The place is so cute! Staff was friendly and attentive. Menu had so much to offer but not in an overwhelming way. Fried meatballs are a must. Maybe they want to match the bathroom vibes with the rest of the place though? Jarring."
"Service was excellent. Crystal has as amazing and very accommodating. Food unfortunately is unbelievably bland. Even trying to add some flavor couldn't do it justice. Really disappointed there."
"Had a wonderful dinner at Fortina. Jared B. waited on us and his service was beyond excellent. I ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich while she had the ravioli dinner. Both were superb, the sandwich had a perfectly cooked juicy chicken, not overly saturated with red sauce and just the right amount of cheese (the Parmesan on top was perfect). The Raviolis were huge in size and she decided to order it after hearing the table next to us praising how good it was. Jared checked in on us several times, every chance he got and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Only suggestion, the Cheesy Mimi was not on the menu and if we knew about it, we would have had it instead to help out Marissa and the Make A Wish Foundation (see last photo about her story and what it’s all about). We will be ordering it next time though. Lastly, in past trips we’ve had the Margarita Pizza, baked Gnocchi among other plates and have never been disappointed. Overall, Fortina is a local favorite and a definite must visit in my book, I totally recommend it! Ask for Jared!!"
"After doing a pedal cruise in Harbor Point, we walked over to Fortina for lunch. We decided to dine on the rooftop, also known as the Fortina Yacht Club. It was a beautiful day, and the chill vibe and view were really nice. The yacht club had a separate menu from downstairs, but we were glad that we were still able to order from the kitchen menu if we wanted to. Since it was our first time, we definitely had to try one of their pizzas and an order of wings, which was brought up takeout style. It worked for the pizza (which had perfectly crispy pepperoni by the way!), but the wings unfortunately seemed like they had been sitting in the takeout container for a while, so they weren’t at their peak. Everything else was delicious - the grilled cheese, burger, and french onion dip were great casual foods for hanging out on the rooftop. Everything came out quickly, and the staff was nice. I definitely would be curious to explore more options on the kitchen’s menu next time, because I saw some pretty good looking options!"
