"Less than 5 minutes from the train station in the heart of downtown. This hotel has been recently updated with modern finishes. The holiday decor was the extra cherry on top. The staff is great! They even assisted with setting up the room before my moms arrival with champagne and snacks. Wish the lobby bar was open, but there's so many great places nearby that it really wasn't a big deal. Definitely our hotel of choice for all future needs!"

"Location is great and rooms are updated but that’s about it. On 11/25 we checked in, there was no valet to help, when we asked the front desk lady where valet was they rude-fully responded “right there”. When we called about an issue the lady hung up on us. My partner was so taken a back by this situation she did not even want to walk past the front desk out of Awkwardness… true shame. This hotel is minimal and sleek but when you spend hundreds to stay at a hotel and immediately feel unwelcome.. we didn’t even ask for anything special. This front desk person was hands down the worst I’ve experienced"

"As a Hilton Member my family and I only stay at Hilton properties and this is one of the nicest ones we've been to. This hotel is very classy and well thought out. The rooms are spacious and offer touches you normally wouldn't find like bath robes and a clothes steamer. We highly recommend this hotel."

"Nice new Hilton property. Not sure why they call it the Lloyd. No info is given by the staff and there is nothing in the room. So perhaps there is no story. If you need physical assistance you will need to park in the garage and make your way to an elevator. No sign posted. I only found out because we asked. There is a security guard that stands by the door, but he doesn’t smile or greet you. When my husband went to check in the woman at the front desk never said hello. How can I help you? She just kept her head down. My husband had to say I would like to check in! This seemed to be the sentiment of everyone there. Like they don’t like their jobs or customers. From the young women at the front desk, to the security guard, to the women who will grab you prepackaged breakfast. No trash can anywhere in the common areas. I don’t know. Was excited to stay in this modern place, but the lack of service hits different. Oh! I almost forgot, there was an older gentleman who works housekeeping. He was very kind and welcoming. -Hotel would be 3 stars -Customer service would be 0 stars -Vicinity to many restaurants, coffee shops and bars is good -Centrally located to 95, Greenwich, amongst other towns"

"Our stay at the lloyd was amazing! We were in a king size bedroom; the Room was very spacious and clean, bed and pillows are very comfortable - which for me is a priority. The front desk is reliable and caring! We spoke with the manager Ashley, and she was able to accommodate our requests and gave us perfect recommendations for dinner in Stamford and she went over and beyond to make our stay memorable. My wife and I definitely coming back! Thank you to the entire lloyd team!"
