La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sturbridge

"Stayed there on a Friday night. My room was on the bottom floor at the end of the hall. There were people in the lobby until 3am talking loudly, laughing and at times screaming. It felt like they were right outside of my door. My guess is they were intoxicated. Called the front desk to complain and nothing was done. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. The hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The room itself was clean-ish but did not smell fresh. The bed was fairly comfortable. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It is across the street from a sushi place and within walking distance to several restaurants. Will not stay again."

"Only had one employee to do everything. Not fair to him obviously, they needed more help. Rooms were passable. There were a few fruit flies hanging around from the hallway. Likley they cleaned did the hallway trash a bit late. Beds were comfortable, clean sheets. Continental breakfast was pretty standard if not lackluster."

"Really horrible experience here. Upon walking into our room we were greeted with the smell of mold, and upon further inspection we found lots of it growing in the shower. The room overall felt dirty and dingy, the bed was very uncomfortable (too soft) and the only blankets on it were 2 very thin sheets. The breakfast was sad, the eggs and sausage weren’t edible. The staff was decent, not super friendly but they were helpful and helped us when we needed it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, spend the extra money and stay at one of the cute inns nearby if possible."

"Accommodations were nice. Breakfast was good. Proximity to out wedding venue was excellent. Only issue we had was we arrived a little early and asked if we could check in. The clerk at the front desk said yes….for an extra $20. Obviously there were rooms available but it would cost us an extra $20. No thanks."

"Ratty, unkempt, Poorly maintained. We had the disability room due to recent surgery... the shower drain was higher than the floor, so the water ran out of the bathroom into the room. Obviously, an ongoing problem; walls were moldy and damaged. MAJOR safety issue, no cover on a duplex wall plug. The desk phone didn't work, the thermostat didn't work. NO vending machines, NO soft drinks at the mini-mart. Took FOREVER to check in. The clerk was at best overworked or disinterested. Good bed, the rest needed some care."
