Wolf's Den Family Campground

"I had been a seasonal years ago and decided to come back this year. Wow the improvements have been unbelievable. We now have pickleball all of the bathrooms and laundry facilities have been updated and are pristine. It's a fun group of folks up there and we have a lot of great activities. The location is absolutely perfect. The new management is wonderful and responsive to our requests and needs. We are counting the days till opening day!!"

"The campground grounds are nice. Well kept. The sites are somewhat close up top. Getting down back is the problem, down into the valley. The road winds getting down there. Trees are along the road on both sides, along the curves, making it difficult for larger trailers to get down there. I ended up driving my trailer against tree branches to make the curve. No damage, but, the campground should maintain the roadways and width better than what it is. The roadworthy within the camp are wide enough for 1 1/4 trucks, without a camper in tow."

"We love the Wolfs Den location. Staff is always friendly. During our visits it has always been light on activities and amenities but we always enjoy ourselves. A revamp of the game room would be great for the teens in my family."

"My family has been camping at Wolfs Den for 20 years. I love the people, location, great camp sites and the way I feel when I pull into the parking lot. I roll down the window and breath in the smell of camp fire and food and all my stress and worry of the past week just fades away. We traveled the state for years going to different campgrounds but always ended up back at Wolfs Den. We have been seasonal for the past 3 years now and are happy as can be. Its the people! Wolfs Den keeps great staff members who love what they do and it shows. I walk the campground every time we go and everyone is happy and kind. I feel like it restores my faith in humanity. It is my home away from home and I hope to stay for years to come."

"We had a seasonal here. I was very, very pregnant that suumer, 90 plus degrees in May and June 2021. They were super strict with their mask policy, it was over 95 degrees one saturday and I took my then 3 year and myself and my sister, who also had a seasonal there, to the playground...WE WERE THE ONLY ONES ON THE PLAYGROUND, the playground sits in DIRECT sunlight. There is not a smidge of shade, they came over SCREAMING we had to put our masks on. I explained it was too hot, we were the same household, and I couldnt breath considering how pregnant I was and how hot it was and there was no way I was asking THE ONLY kid on the playground to put one on and run around in that heat. That women SOUNDED off on me. Called me some pretty disgusting names. It actually made me not want to ever go back, but we had paid for a season. Fast forward a little, I had a new born, we were going down to secure the campers because we had been told there was a hurricane coming. I go down to find my camper window SMASHED with a giant rock sitting on my kids bed. They could have cared less. Turns out, my sister ALSO had a smashed window in her kitchen. This place disgusted me with how management handle things and spoke to people. I have been seasonal at another campground before this one and we were looking for a switch up. BIGGEST mistake. They are horrible at speaking to their patrons. They quickly belittled us and dismissed us. I would NEVER go back and NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I would give ZERO stars but it would not allow me to."
