Reviews
"There is nothing I can say about this place that is great. They are a huge chain that is slowly muscling out the Mom & Pop stores. For instance, Granby used to have a very nice local owned pharmacy. It's gone now, and probably the fault of this place. The receipts are absurdly long. Not necessarily their fault, but you kind of have to wonder about a corporation that has such a recless disregard for the environment. All in all, I'll only go here when I am forced to, and have no other reasonable choice."
"Always a good store to visit at any time of day"

"Terrible service at the pharmacy. Sorry about the long story but this was so frustrating that I wanted to take the time to write this review, which I rarely do... I recently moved from out of state and have two prescriptions at two different pharmacies over there that I needed to transfer to a pharmacy over here. I tried calling the CVS in Granby to have them transferred and the lady I talked to told me I would have to call the pharmacies that my prescriptions are at now and have them call them in. I knew this wasn't true since I've transferred prescriptions multiple times to and from other pharmacies and have always called the new pharmacy and they would take care of the transfer. I called back and spoke to another lady and explained again that I wanted to transfer prescriptions and that the last person I talked to told me to call my old pharmacies and that I didn't think that was right. She paused then responded with, "Is this about the insurance issue?" I again went through the whole story and she told me that they would call the pharmacies to get my prescriptions transferred but that I would have to bring the bottles in person and show them to the pharmacist since they were from two different pharmacies. I have no idea why she couldn't just take the prescription info over the phone like every other pharmacy does and it would have been very inconvenient for me to drive over there. At this point I was chalking it up to laziness on the parts of both people I spoke to... I told her I was going to try another pharmacy first to see if they would take the info over the phone so I wouldn't have to go in person and she just said "ok." I called Stop and Shop up the street and gave all the info to Doug at the pharmacy and he managed to take it all down over the phone with no problem and transfer my prescriptions for me. Definitely would not choose this particular CVS as my pharmacy..."
