"I've stayed here several times on the past month or so. I wanted to wait to write a review until I had enough experiences here to give an honest review. The rooms are small, but extremely clean and cozy. The man with whom I booked the room (all 3 times) was personable, friendly, funny and all in all very welcoming. This motel is a clean, quiet, restful reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding cities (several within 15 minutes). Also, it happens to be located smack dab in the middle of some of the best fishing locations in Connecticut."

"Today I was looking for a motel for my son to stay at for the week and the owner had told me over the phone I could pay with cash. When we arrived here, we were greeted very rudely because my son was being stereotyped just for having tattoos. When speaking to the owner, my son had assured him that he’s a very clean person and there would be no problems with him staying there for the week. He was then very disrespectful by giving dirty looks and then refused for us to be able to buy a room. The whole experience was very confusing because as stated, we were just looking for a motel for my son to stay at for the week and we weren’t expecting for the owner of the establishment to be so rude. Horrible customer service and the rooms aren’t worth the price."
