Ocean State Job Lot

"January 2023 - One of the things I always go to Ocean State Job Lot for in the winter is their large bags of bird seed. Looking just for sunflower seeds to blend with a variety mix bought from a local supplier, I saw a twenty pound bag for twenty five bucks, flipped it over to see where it was from and saw the grown and manufactured in the U.S.A. seal. Sold. I appreciated the nice employee in the parking lot putting the bag in my car for me. This time of year they have calendars for three bucks if you need one. A nice selection, too, when I was there. Not just pets and butterflies if you want something more scenic or artistic. # They have seasonal items, food items, linens, rugs, clothing, reading glasses, bathroom and kitchen supplies, toys and tools all for a good price."

"As discount stores go, this is one of my favorites. They have a very good selection that tends to be seasonally-oriented (driveway markers in the fall, pool chemicals in the summer, etc.) and some of the items have terrific prices. They carry a little bit of everything including some dry grocery items that can be a great bargain. My go to place for all those mundane household items you have no desire to pay top dollar for."

"This is my go-to Ocean State store. They are jammed with everything and anything I'm looking for. Yard stuff, pool supplies, clothing, housewares, snacks, spices, and tons more. The manager runs a good ship, and the associates are super helpful and friendly. I love this store!"
