Reviews
"Dirtiest room I've ever stayed in, carpet was absolutely filthy, furniture is worn and damaged which wouldn't be as much of an issue if it was somewhat clean. Toenail clippings down the side of the bed, crumbs all over the floor/carpet, hair everywhere."
"I've stayed here twice now when visiting my parents. This place is clean and ample without breaking the bank, and it's in a prime location right off the highway. They were doing some maintenance during my most recent stay, which I didn't mind since staff communicated effectively and resolved the matter quickly. Only thing is I do feel that housekeeping is a little hasty to enter occupied rooms--they unlocked my door on each of the two mornings of my stay despite my having posted the Do Not Disturb sign outside and being physically present behind the door to communicate that they could skip my room for service. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay and would come again."
"Pros- Cow pillows as advertised. Very clean and comfortable room, updated bathroom. Fantastic bar/lounge located on the premises with a variety of gin drinks. We did not eat there, but it seemed seafood heavy and the decor was delightful. Open late which was nice for us! Cons- Fear was instilled by signs regarding the shower steam potentially setting off the smoke detector, however, we were successful in not setting it off! There was no fridge, and we couldn't find the ice, but neither of those are the fault of the hotel. Construction across the street seemed to be moving fast, exciting show with your morning coffee, and hopefully something convenient will be going in across the street! We were unable to get Wi-Fi on our personal devices, but Hi Ho tech worked great! Overall very interesting building, would definitely stay again!"
"The cleaners came right into the room at 9am, 2 hours before check out. The room code didn't work until the third code given. Room smells like cigarettes. The restaurant snd the wine shop are the best parts of this motel. Its definitely just a motel and not a hotel"
"I came back and had to change my 3 star review to a 1 star because we got scared awake to our door opening at 8:36am for room cleaning. Not sure if they knocked we didn’t hear it until the lock clicked open. Something written right out of a horror movie. Pretty terrible way to be woken up while on vacation. Not sure why they needed to be in the room that early on our check-out date. Original review We had a hard time with the check in process which would have been incredibly easier if there was information available about HOW to check in. On their website they mention easy no contact check-in and in the main lobby it also says contactless check-in. Which is great and something I’m familiar with. However there is nowhere where is says HOW to check in text? Email? Call? Which was frustrating and confusing. Adding this information to the website and main lobby would have greatly improved our experience. There is also this “pre-check-in process” and and “check-in process” which as a guest was pretty confusing trying to navigate as we did not have service in the hotel parking lot nor did the wifi work well. We booked through a separate site which meant that we were “sent” an email but it went to an email address connected to the booking platform and not our email address. Again frustrating to figure out. Our check-in process took about an hour which was a pretty rough start to our stay. We unfortunately had to call the number provided 2x during the check in process which could have been entirely avoided if there was better communication between the location and guests. The person we spoke to each time was very helpful. I hope this feedback is constructive in providing a better experience for future guests."
