"I have no hesitation in referring The DAX Cafe to anyone, as the foods made fresh everyday, the service I have received is always the friendliest with smile's, even though they're up at extremely early hours of the morning, yes around the 1am time, (which will explain why the owners seem tired as any of us would be, yet the smiles and politeness never changes) they do that to get the food we all love and return for regularly made, that's made for every customer who frequently visits for freshness and variety. The DAX meals are very generous and always piping hot when served, this is an amazing place to relax, have a chat and to catch up with others, we love this little cafe it's an amazing place to be. "Wonderful cafe found close to the Hastings CBD. It almost feels like a bit of an oasis with the nice tree shaded outside patio, on a part if the streets where there isn't a lot of greenery. The food was amazing, and certainly hit the spot well... I highly recommend the French toast, which is what I had. My wife had the creamy mushrooms, which she too thoroughly enjoyed. This is definitely a place to consider if you're looking for somewhere for breakfast or lunch in a region full of great eating options."
