We are excited to announce that the Territorial Commander has approved several appointments that will further enhance our ability to serve the community. These appointments will take effect on Thursday, January 11, 2024, and we look forward to the positive impact they will have.

Our institution is a place of prayer and reflection, and we hold the High Council chamber as a sacred space. Recently, delegates from various age groups, cultures, and backgrounds participated in a meaningful event within this chamber, fostering unity and growth within our community.

Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that registration for Thought Matters 2023, our annual conference, is now open. This year's conference will feature a keynote speaker who will provide valuable insights and perspectives on important societal issues.

The Salvation Army is committed to addressing pressing issues that affect our society. We have recently focused on child poverty reduction and have invited politicians to explain their plans for continuing this vital work. Furthermore, our Social Policy and Parliamentary Unit has emphasized the significance of jobs, incomes, and tax in the upcoming election, highlighting their importance in shaping a more equitable society.
