Welcome to Housing New Zealand Corporation, located at 850 Victoria Street in Hamilton, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing quality housing solutions for the community.

We are excited to announce the completion of thirteen new public homes in Richmond, ready for residents to move in. This project is just one example of our commitment to increasing the supply of housing in the area.

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities, the parent institution of Housing New Zealand Corporation, is currently seeking public feedback on proposed key features for the Porirua Northern Growth Area and the Tauranga Western Corridor. We value the input of the community and encourage everyone to participate in shaping these developments.

In addition to new constructions, we are also planning to purchase 18 new homes and build up to nine more in Dunedin. These strategically located sites will help meet the housing needs of the Otago community.

At Housing New Zealand Corporation, we believe in creating a better future for all. We support community initiatives such as Mo’ui Feinga Kihe Lelei, where members come together for weaving and craftmaking, fostering personal growth and a sense of belonging.

Our commitment to giving back extends beyond community projects. Rose, an 80-year-old volunteer, dedicates her retirement to helping those in need. Her selflessness is an inspiration to us all.

Sustainability is a core value for us, as demonstrated by Neil's upbringing on a farm in Golden Bay. He learned the importance of reusing and minimizing waste, values that we incorporate into our housing practices.

Since our formation in October 2019, Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities has ushered in a new era of housing and urban development in New Zealand. We are dedicated to creating well-functioning and thriving communities through best practice urban design and development.
