Te Poi Playcentre

Welcome to Te Poi Playcentre Playgroup, located at Te Poi, Temm Road, 5 in New Zealand. As a unique early childhood education institution, our Playcentre Playgroup offers an inclusive environment where both children and their parents or caregivers can participate.

At Te Poi Playcentre Playgroup, children have the opportunity to learn and explore in a fun and safe environment. We believe in nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children) so they can learn about themselves and the world around them.

Your child will have the chance to engage in a wide range of activities, including exploring, creating, climbing, reading, singing, experimenting, playing music, dressing up in costumes, face painting, gardening, carpentry with real tools, baking and cooking, building sandcastles, swinging, sliding, dancing, spending time in nature, and getting messy.

Our Playcentre Playgroup is enriched by the diverse skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds of our parents. We believe that this diversity adds to the rich learning environment we provide.

We welcome families with children aged 0 to 6 years. Our mixed-age play environment allows children to interact with others who are both older and younger than themselves. This helps pre-schoolers learn important skills such as communication, sharing, and negotiating with empathy for their younger peers.

At Te Poi Playcentre Playgroup, families come together and lifelong friendships are formed. We encourage you to visit us at any time during the year. You are entitled to three free visits, so come and see what we do. We would love to meet you and your family!
