Rolleston Playcentre

Welcome to Kānuka Tāwharau/Rolleston Playcentre, located in the beautiful area of Rolleston, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, Rolleston Playcentre offers a unique early childhood education experience for both children and their parents/caregivers.

At Rolleston Playcentre, children have the opportunity to learn and explore in a fun and safe environment. We believe in nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children) in a way that allows them to learn about themselves and the world around them.

Your child will have endless opportunities to engage in various activities. From exploring, creating, and climbing to reading, singing, and experimenting, they will have a chance to play music, wear costumes, have their face painted, garden, do carpentry with real tools, bake and cook, build sandcastles, swing, slide, dance, spend time in nature, and get messy. Each day brings new and exciting activities.

What sets us apart is the involvement of parents in their children's learning journey. Playcentre parents bring their unique skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds, creating a rich and diverse learning environment. It's a place where families come together, and lifelong friendships are formed.

We welcome families with children aged 0-6 years. Our mixed-age play allows children to engage with others older and younger than themselves, fostering communication, sharing, and empathy for their younger peers.

We invite you to visit us any time during the year. You are entitled to three free visits, so come and see what we do. We would love to meet you and your family!
