Welcome to Lincoln University Early Childhood Centre, located at The Crescent, 29 in Lincoln, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, our centre provides a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

At Lincoln University Early Childhood Centre, we believe in the power of education to shape the future. Inspired by the proverb "Te manu e kai ana I te miro, nōna te ngahere; Te manu e kai ana I te mātauranga nōna te ao", which translates to "The bird who partakes of the miro berry owns the forest; The bird who partakes of education owns the world", we strive to provide a responsive curriculum that sparks curiosity and fosters a love for learning.

Our dedicated team, led by Centre Coordinator Prasanna Singh and Centre Administrator Brylee Granger, ensures that each child's interests are at the heart of their educational journey. We offer a range of attendance options, including morning sessions, afternoon sessions, full-day care, and school hours, to cater to the needs of both children and their families.

As an Enviroschool, we are proud to be part of a unique sustainability journey. The Enviroschools Programme has already engaged over 860 early childhood education centres and schools in New Zealand, and we joined this initiative in 2013. We believe that early childhood education plays a vital role in shaping children's attitudes and values towards the world they live in.

Since our establishment in 1994, Lincoln University Early Childhood Centre has been dedicated to serving the students and staff of Lincoln University. Today, we welcome families from the wider Lincoln community and surrounding areas. With a licensed capacity for thirty-three children, our centre provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to grow and learn.

We operate from Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 5.00pm, offering flexible attendance options to suit different schedules. Please note that we are closed on public holidays, Easter Tuesday (as this is a University holiday), and for three weeks over the Christmas/New Year period.
