Welcome to Aspire Arts Academy, located at 19 Tui Street in the picturesque town of Matamata, New Zealand. We are an established institution that offers a range of classes in dance and drama, making us a point of interest for aspiring performers of all ages.

At Aspire Arts Academy, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students. Our qualified and experienced teachers actively promote safe dance practices, but it's important to recognize that dance inherently carries a risk of injury or accidents. We aim to provide a safe learning environment, but it's crucial for students and parents/guardians to understand and accept this element of risk.

To ensure a smooth communication process, we kindly ask that any questions or queries be directed to our friendly staff at the front desk or through email. Our teachers often have back-to-back classes, so discussing matters before or after class may not always be possible. Our front desk team will be more than happy to assist you and provide information on how to best get in touch with us.

These platforms will keep you informed about any updates throughout the term, including class schedules, performances, and special events.

Currently, we offer classes in Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical & Contemporary, Musical Theatre dance, and Drama. Our Mini's show classes have three intakes during the year, at the start of Terms 1, 2 & 3, while our older students have two main intakes, at the beginning and middle of the school year. Our long-term vision is to expand our offerings to include more performing arts disciplines, providing even more opportunities for our students to explore their passions.

Please note that Aspire Arts Academy - School of Dance and Drama is not liable for personal injuries or any loss or damage of personal property while on the premises. We strive to provide a safe learning environment and reduce the risk of injury, but accidents can still occur. It is the responsibility of students and parents/guardians to notify their teacher of any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions before class.

In case of injury or medical concerns, a first aid kit is available through your teacher or the office. However, we do not provide Panadol or equivalent medication, nor do we administer student medication. Additionally, please be aware that our teachers and staff can only supervise students during their allocated class time. While we make every effort to provide a safe environment, we cannot be responsible for students outside of class time.
