Welcome to Pyes Pa Playcentre, located on Pyes Pa Road in Tauranga, New Zealand. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, Pyes Pa Playcentre offers a unique early childhood education experience for both children and their parents/caregivers.

At Pyes Pa Playcentre, children have the opportunity to learn and explore in a fun and safe environment. We believe in nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children) in a way that allows them to learn about themselves and the world around them.

Your child will have the chance to engage in a wide range of activities, including exploring, creating, climbing, reading, singing, experimenting, playing music, dressing up in costumes, face painting, gardening, carpentry with real tools, baking and cooking, building sandcastles, swinging, sliding, dancing, spending time in nature, and getting messy. With activities changing daily, your child will always have something new to discover.

What sets Pyes Pa Playcentre apart is the involvement of parents. Playcentre parents bring their unique skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds, creating a rich learning environment for all children. Families with children aged 0-6 years are welcome to join us, and mixed age play allows children to engage with others older and younger than themselves. This enables preschoolers to learn important skills such as communication, sharing, and negotiation with empathy for their younger peers.

At Pyes Pa Playcentre, families come together and lifelong friendships are formed. We encourage you to visit us any time throughout the year. You are entitled to three free visits, so come and see what we do - we would love to meet you and your family!
