Welcome to Dance Avenue NZ, a premier dance institution located in Tauranga, New Zealand. We offer a wide range of dance classes including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acro, Hiphop, Tap, Pre school classes, and a boys-only combo class.

Conveniently situated at 18 Glenlyon Avenue in Tauranga, our Greerton studio features two spacious studios equipped with mirrors and ballet barres. We also provide a comfortable waiting area with air conditioning/heating and off-street parking for your convenience.

At Dance Avenue NZ, we pride ourselves on our exceptional team of experienced teachers. Our owner and principal teacher, Amy Yorke, has over 25 years of dance teaching experience and is qualified in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, and Acro. She is passionate about inspiring her students to reach their full potential and loves to share her love for dance.

In addition to Amy, we have a talented team of senior and junior teachers including Emma Breckon, Kaitie Burrows, Ayva McOnie, Emma Linklater, Ashley Yorke, and Briar Grace. They all bring their expertise and enthusiasm to create a fun and encouraging environment for our students.

We believe that dance is for everyone, and we are proud to have 10% of our dancers being boys. We also offer competition opportunities for teams and solos, allowing our students to showcase their skills on a larger stage.

At Dance Avenue NZ, we offer a free trial class system, allowing you to experience our classes before committing. Simply send us a message to inquire about our trial classes.

Please note that our studio will be closed on ANZAC Day (Tuesday, 25th April), but we will have an open week option for Tuesday classes on 2nd May.

By referring a friend to Dance Avenue NZ, you can unlock exciting opportunities such as FDS exams for Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, and Tap classes. We also offer a boys-only combo class and boys-only competition opportunities. Our purpose-built studio in Greerton provides a great location for all our activities.

Every student is included in our annual show in August, and there is also an option to be involved in our Term 4 Performance Awards. We believe in celebrating the accomplishments of our students and providing them with opportunities to shine.
