Welcome to Taumata School, located in Tauranga, Mortlake Heights at 145. As an establishment and point of interest, our school is dedicated to providing a world-class learning experience for our students.

Taumata School is a future-focused institution that was purpose-built to foster innovation and creativity. Since our opening on February 7, 2019, we have been committed to learner-centric pedagogy, personalized learning, collaboration, and providing quality experiences. Our primary goal is to prepare and empower our students for the adventure that is life.

Situated on a 5-hectare ridge-line site, our school offers stunning views of the surrounding area, which was once natural wetlands and a valuable resource for the local hāpu, Ngai Tamarawaho. We embrace evidence-based learning design and draw on international research to create an optimal learning environment for our students.
