"Being a regular returnee visitor to the garden city, I always look for the newly opened bars and restaurants, which is almost a FOMO. Among the 3 places I visited last week, TheOne Rooftop Bar definitely stood out by miles. Nestled in the Chch City Hotel rooftop, it’s hugged by the entire city, which has been renewed from inside out over the last decade. The lift takes you right to the welcoming restaurant. Decorated with what struck me as Singaporean or HongKong metro style with a Kiwi twist, the cafe and bar area blends together so well that no matter where you sit, there is an immaculate view. Walking outside, you get nearly 360 degree view of the city. I could imagine having a glass of Sav in a summer night around the LED lit bar tables. Highly recommended to those who fancy a bit of classy service."
