Competitive cheerleading at Empire Athletics is a thrilling experience. Our teams, consisting of 8-36 athletes, train tirelessly to perform a fast-paced 2.5-minute routine at competitions. These routines showcase the best of our team's stunt, jump, tumbling, and dance abilities, all skillfully choreographed to captivate the audience.

Under the guidance of our qualified coaches, learning these skills not only builds fitness but also instills confidence, self-discipline, and lifelong friendships. Participating in a competitive team requires commitment and dedication, as athletes work in "stunt groups" of 4 athletes. Each member plays a crucial role in the team's success, making every training session a valuable opportunity for growth.

Empire Athletics athletes also have the opportunity to travel to competitions, most of which are held in the North Island. This allows our athletes to showcase their talent on a larger stage and be part of the thriving cheerleading community across New Zealand.

Under the guidance of our qualified staff, athletes in our recreational teams will learn stunting and tumbling skills, and they also have the opportunity to perform at our end-of-year showcase.
