"We were a group of 14 that went here to celebrate a birthday. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Well presented, tasted great and very filling. Would recommend people to try it. It is a small place so need to book a table. We went last night (Sunday) and it was full. Thank you to the staff who were all very busy but always had a smile on their faces."

"We absolutely love everything about The Amore Italian in Halswell. It’s the best local restaurant in the suburbs that hits that 5 star city quality across the board (branding, atmosphere, food quality and service) so we can have the experience of going out to town without having to walk for miles to park the car. We booked in advance, which is a must as they are full to the brim, even on week nights! Online booking is seamless, they even ask if it’s for a special occasion and went above and beyond, writing a special message to us on our desert (see picture). I can’t thank you enough for such a wonderful night every time we visit (this is as least our 5th time in the door now!). We will be back next special occasion!"

"The best Italian restaurant in town! We absolutely love the food and will come back again and again! We’ve tried spaghetti and other pasta, rice ball, salad, panna cota. Super yummy and in large portion. It’s on my list now, will definitely try every dish in their restaurant! Love it!"

"Good food and good atmosphere. Prompt waiting and serving times. Quite a small restaurant, so you can definitely hear other people's conversations. Layout is a little odd, same with the entrance. Wasnt sure which door it was at first. Had the ravioli, rigatoni, tiramisu, and gelato/sorbet. I like the rigatoni more than the ravioli as it was more cheesier and creamier. Tiramisu did not have a strong coffee flavour. Raspberry sorbet was strong in flavour. Keen to try more of their meals."
