At ReloveRevampRecycle, we take great pleasure in breathing new life into old furniture. One of our recent projects was a stunning restoration of an old rimu flour cabinet. This piece allowed our imagination to run wild as we custom-stenciled and revamped it. Starting with a vinyl top, we transformed this tired cabinet with a dark brown streaky stain into a farmhouse beauty. We repaired broken parts, removed old hardware, filled holes, and sealed it with two coats to prevent stain bleed. The cabinet now boasts a vintage white interior and a custom olde blue exterior. We also replaced broken battens and re-fixed the mesh, resulting in a truly interesting piece.

Another remarkable transformation was a set of plain bedroom drawers that we turned into a functional decor item. With an apothecary cabinet-inspired look, these drawers not only provide handy storage but also add character to any space.

Among our collection, you'll find a 150-year-old French antique bakery table that stole the heart of its owner. This piece was incorporated into her kitchen scheme, and we designed a cabinet to fit within the cavity space. Vintage-looking metal feet were added to raise the table, and old boards from the bottom shelf were repurposed to dress the back of the island. The handles of the cabinet were repeated in the kitchen cabinetry, creating a cohesive and eye-catching look. This table has now become the focal point of the kitchen, where everyone gathers.

If you're looking for something glamorous, we also refreshed a beautifully crafted Indonesian bureau. Painted in jet black with a powder blue insert on the desk top, this bureau exudes elegance. With multiple drawers, including secret ones, and all its original keys, this solid teak piece showcases the skill of its clever craftsman.
