Naenae Intermediate School

Welcome to Naenae Intermediate School, located at 100 Walters Street in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to empowering all learners with the knowledge, skills, and beliefs needed for success.

Our school is proud to be multicultural, catering to a diverse range of students in Year 7 and 8. We understand the unique needs of these students and strive to provide them with excellent academic, sporting, and cultural experiences.

Inclusiveness is a core value at Naenae Intermediate. We foster a sense of belonging and support through manaakitanga, which means caring and support, whanaungatanga, which involves building relationships with students, whanau (family), and the wider community, and hauora, which focuses on wellbeing.

At Naenae Intermediate, we prioritize developing and maintaining effective and meaningful learning relationships with our students. Through Student Inquiry, our students engage in a process of learning that is enriched by authentic contexts and rich learning experiences.
