Little Theatre

Welcome to Little Theatre, a performance theatre located in the heart of Lower Hutt, New Zealand. Situated next to the War Memorial Library on Queens Drive, our establishment is a popular point of interest for locals and visitors alike.

At Little Theatre, we offer a versatile space that is perfect for a variety of events, including public lectures, concerts, school productions, and theatre performances. Our large auditorium provides ample seating in a comfortable theatre-style layout, ensuring that every attendee has a great view of the stage. The classic proscenium arch stage adds a touch of elegance to any performance.

To ensure that your event runs smoothly, we have partnered with Audio Workshop, our preferred AV suppliers. They will work closely with you to provide the necessary equipment for a high-quality event. Their team of experts will also offer technical advice leading up to your event. For rehearsals and performances, we highly recommend booking an Audio Workshop technician, although additional fees will apply.

Our weekday hire rates start at $371.80, while weekend hire rates begin at $508.20. Please note that these rates do not include site induction fees, technician's hours, or a refundable bond. It's important to keep in mind that hire rates may increase during peak periods, which typically occur from September through December.
