Welcome to Elite Development Academy (EDA), a private athlete development coaching institution located in Lower Hutt, Taita Drive, 237. At EDA, we are dedicated to providing personalized development sessions for athletes in various sports, both in the gym and on the field, court, diamond, track, ring, course, or wherever else you compete.

In New Zealand, many athletes lack the necessary training to reach the next level of success. With most training happening in large groups or team settings, individual athletes often miss out on opportunities to grow. At EDA, our goal is to provide the tools, knowledge, and plans for our athletes to reach their full potential, whatever that may be. We focus on addressing weaknesses, improving functional movement patterns, and supporting athletes in any way they need.

We welcome athletes of all ability levels, as long as they have a clear ambition or goal, no matter how big or small it might be. Our coaching services are available for juniors (6-12 years old), youth (12-18 years old), and adults (18 years old). We offer flexible scheduling, with availabilities 7 days a week, and operate out of the Ricoh Sports Centre in Lower Hutt.

Our coaching team is led by Kieran, who has extensive experience in private coaching, working with various clubs, schools, and private organizations since 2015. Kieran has worked with athletes of all ages and ability levels across different sports. He is also an accomplished football player, having played in top-level leagues in New Zealand and overseas in America. Kieran holds a Master of Philosophy through AUT in association with Paris Saint Germain F.C., focusing on elite level footballers. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science and a Minor in Sports Management from Concordia University - Portland. Additionally, he holds multiple coaching credentials, including his Junior Level 3 License (JL3) through New Zealand Football. Currently, Kieran works with the Wellington Phoenix as the A-League Women's strength and conditioning coach.

Our coaching team also includes Aaron, a UEFA C License holder with extensive coaching experience in Scotland, working with players of all ages, including professional players. Aaron's background in youth social care makes him an ideal coach for players looking to improve and develop. He currently works with the Petone F.C. First Team, Third Team, and the U15s.

Brynn, another member of our coaching team, brings valuable knowledge and experience from playing football at the top level across different leagues in New Zealand. Despite his young age, Brynn has gained extensive experience working with various players and coaches. Aspiring to be a professional footballer, Brynn is passionate about self-improvement and is eager to share his knowledge with motivated young players.

At EDA, we offer personalized 1-hour sessions that are uniquely customized to suit each individual based on their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. We also provide 1-hour group sessions for athletes of similar ability levels, offering the opportunity to work with and against each other, providing both challenge and support.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Dynamic Sport New Zealand, who will be our exclusive equipment supplier. Through their association with uhlsport, they will also be our exclusive teamwear supplier. Supporting local businesses, especially during these challenging times, is important to us at EDA, and we are delighted to work with Nigel and his team at Dynamic Sport New Zealand.

While we operate out of multiple venues around the Hutt Valley and wider Wellington region, our home and hub is at Fraser Park at the Ricoh Sports Centre. This state-of-the-art facility offers high-quality fields and courts, along with amenities such as a café and sauna, making it the perfect place for our athletes to train and develop.
