Welcome to Stokes Valley Kindergarten, a premier establishment and point of interest located at 74 Stokes Valley Road in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. At Stokes Valley Kindergarten, we are dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences that are tailored to the interests and needs of your child. Our main focus is on the child, who truly is at the heart of everything we do.

Our kindergarten boasts a stunning outdoor area complete with beautiful gardens, allowing children to explore and connect with nature. Inside, we have a spacious and well-equipped play area that provides endless opportunities for learning and growth.

Inspired by innovative learning spaces, our team strives to create experiences that ignite curiosity and wonder in every child. We encourage tamariki (children) to take the lead in their own learning, fostering independence and a love for exploration. Our dedicated team is committed to continuously providing learning experiences that reflect the unique interests of each child through play.

Led by Head Teacher Jodi Tavite, our passionate team includes Teacher Abby Macdonald, Teacher Kelly Ballinger-Tavite, Part-time Teacher Emily Slater, and Kindergarten Administrator & Teacher Support Susan Setter. Together, we create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive.

Our group size is capped at a maximum of 30 children, ensuring individual attention and a close-knit community. Our session times run from Monday to Friday, starting at 8:30 am and concluding at 2:30 pm.

Stokes Valley Kindergarten operates within the term structure, with Term 1 running from 25th January to 6th April, Term 2 from 24th April to 30th June, Term 3 from 17th July to 22nd September, and Term 4 from 9th October to 21st December.
