Avalon Kindergarten

Welcome to Avalon Kindergarten, a beloved establishment and point of interest located at 25 Walters Street in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. Our kindergarten offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

One of our standout features is our beautiful and spacious outdoor area, designed to encourage exploration and discovery. Children absolutely love our natural play-space, which has been thoughtfully developed with native plantings and rocks, giving it a distinctive New Zealand feel. In addition, we have a forest area complete with a bridge, playhouse, and vegetable planters, providing valuable connections with nature.

Inside our kindergarten, children are encouraged to explore and express their creativity through various art spaces, books, technology, and literacy areas. Our friendly and experienced teachers actively engage with the children, supporting their learning and development every step of the way.

Located centrally, we attract families from all over the Hutt Valley, and we have established strong relationships with several local primary schools. This allows for a seamless transition for children entering primary education.

Our dedicated staff includes Head Teacher Christina Woolloff, along with teachers Lyn Guild, Kathryn Ashfaq, and Nima Shinde. Our Kindergarten Administrator, Sascha Biskowiak, ensures smooth operations and communication.
