Naenae Kindergarten

Welcome to Naenae Kindergarten, a vibrant and inclusive establishment located in Lower Hutt, Seddon Street. As a point of interest in the community, we strive to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow through play.

At Naenae Kindergarten, we believe that children learn best when they are engaged in activities that are meaningful and relevant to their interests. Our dedicated teachers set up a wide range of play experiences that make learning fun and exciting. From mud slides to wet weather exploring, our children are encouraged to explore and discover the world around them.

We are proud to be a part of the KidsCan ECE program, which ensures that all children receive nutritious meals throughout the week. Our meals consist of sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, and three cooked meals per week. In addition, each child receives a new pair of shoes and a rain jacket, ensuring they are well-equipped for outdoor adventures.

Celebrating the diverse cultures in our community is an integral part of our philosophy. Through food, music, dancing, and stories, we create a welcoming environment where children can learn about and appreciate different cultures. Our place, Naenae Kindergarten, is a hub of cultural exchange and understanding.

Our dedicated staff members are passionate about early childhood education and are committed to providing the best possible care and education for your child. Led by Head Teacher Roena Rogers, our team includes Jasmin Jattan, Ashwini Kamanahalli, Chanel Baldwin, Hope Groenewegen, and Etina Lepa. Vanessa Hunger manages the administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations at our kindergarten.
