"Being a bit of an aeroplane fanatic, this is the perfect spot for a bite and a drink. While the weather was a bit stormy and the sea was choppy, this was a perfect spot to enjoy a hot drink and breakfast. As per usual, drink orders were taken first. Coffees and Teas all around! The coffee was very good, the flat white smooth and creamy, hot and steamy! Watching the surfers waiting for their next breaker, we all ordered our food. 3 of us ordered Eggs Benedict, and one ordered the Waffles. The eggs were cooked perfectly, exploding onto the toast when cut with the knife. The hollandaise was light, slightly acidic, and the perfect compliment to the plate. The bacon was nice and crispy, and I loved the ciabata toast, well toasted. The waffles were a treat, covered in syrup and a delicious cinnamon cream. The waffles had a nice crispy coating, and all went down a treat. To top it all off, the prices were incredible, at around $20 per person. So a delicious breakfast, lovely drinks, and the pleasure of watching the planes come and go all while the ocean churns away in the background. It doesn't get much better than that!"
"Great location with the beach across the road. We ordered a Fish and Chips,Seafood Chowder was devine and Spruce Goose Wafer with Bacon and Caramelised Banana. Huge portion. Highly recommend"
"Great friendly café right next to the airport by the sea. Perfect location to watch the coming and going of aircraft and ferries crossing the Strait. Limited menu but that means everything is cooked to perfection. Good selection of drinks, wonderful spot. It's one of our favourite places."
"Nice views, thin toast. Really great view of Lyall looking towards red rocks (glass needs cleaning though) and views of planes is fun to watch! Food and service was Ok! Bit disappointed with small, thin toast that came with meal. Not worth the $$. I would come here again, and just order coffee. I hope that the owner gives the staff a Living Wage."
"Great location with the beach across the road. Restaurant was modern, clean and busy with people. Generous with the bacon as it was ordered as a side. The brunch meals came out very quickly. The eggs tasted great. My burger came out late and the others had finished eating which I didn’t like… BUT I can forgive this as it was worth the wait, fresh and tasted great. Patty was thick and chips crunchy."
