With over 13 years of experience, we have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals in various therapeutic settings. In addition to private consultations, our therapist and group/team facilitator have collaborated with specialist organizations, providing support to families, adults, and adolescents. This extensive experience has allowed us to develop a broad understanding of both general and specialized areas of psychotherapy and counseling.

At Tomislav Skulic - Counselling & Psychotherapy, our approach to therapy is primarily based on the principles of psychodynamic psychotherapy. However, we also incorporate a range of other modalities, such as process work, mind-body therapy, dreamwork, and structural family therapy, to cater to specific needs. We believe that the sources of emotional difficulties in our lives are often unconsciously created and maintained. These invisible influences can significantly impact our relationships and how we perceive ourselves in the world. Through a collaborative and confidential therapeutic relationship, we help individuals, couples, and families identify and work through these issues.

Depression, anxiety, anger, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship or family problems, and difficult life transitions are some of the challenges we assist our clients with. Our therapist has obtained a post-graduate qualification in psychotherapy after six years of supervised training. We are fully registered and professionally supervised, adhering to the Code of Ethics of the New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists (NZAP).
