Our team of highly skilled ENT specialists is led by Dr. Graeme van der Meer, who brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise. Dr. van der Meer received his medical degree from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and went on to obtain his specialist ENT qualification cum laude from the same institution. He further honed his skills through a pediatric ENT fellowship at Starship Children’s Health, where he focused on areas such as pediatric airway compromise, sleep disordered breathing, sinus disease, and congenital neck disorders. With numerous scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and being recognized as an invited reviewer for prestigious journals like the International Journal of Paediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. van der Meer is a trusted authority in his field.

Another esteemed member of our team is Dr. Colin, a founding father of pediatric ENT in New Zealand. With over 30 years of clinical practice and a fellowship in pediatric ENT from Washington, USA, Dr. Colin has established himself as a leader in the field of pediatric airway reconstruction. He has contributed to various international journal publications and is a regular presenter at world-class ENT meetings. His pivotal role in establishing Starship Children’s Hospital as a specialist entity focusing on children’s health demonstrates his commitment to providing the best care possible.

Joining our team in 2022, Dr. Ed Toll is a fellowship-trained specialist pediatric ENT surgeon. He completed his medical education at the University of Bristol Medical School (UK) and further pursued a Royal College of Surgeons of England Research Fellowship. Dr. Toll has extensive experience in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and has a particular interest in regenerative medicine and pediatric airway disorders. His fellowship in pediatric ENT at Starship Children’s Hospital and subsequent appointment as a Consultant Pediatric ENT Surgeon at Starship in 2021 solidify his expertise in the field.

We are pleased to announce that Drs. Graeme van der Meer and Ed Toll will be available for consultations in Pukekohe once a month starting from January 2023. Please mention your preference for Pukekohe when booking an appointment.
