Welcome to Christina Tieu Gynaecology, located in Auckland, New Zealand. As a specialist gynaecologist with over a decade of experience, I am dedicated to providing exceptional care and expertise in women's health.

Having immigrated from Vietnam at a young age, I completed both my medical and specialist degrees in New Zealand, and have been practicing as a gynaecologist since 2012.

My private practices are conveniently located at Ormiston Specialist Centre and Crawford Specialist Centre, where I offer a range of services to address various gynaecological concerns. I perform surgeries at the state-of-the-art Ormiston Hospital, ensuring the highest level of care for my patients.

I am proud to be an affiliated provider for Southern Cross and NIB insurance, welcoming all medical insurances. This allows me to offer comprehensive care to a wide range of patients.

In addition to my private practice, I also serve as a consultant at Middlemore Hospital and hold the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the Auckland School of Medicine. This allows me to stay at the forefront of medical advancements and provide the most up-to-date care to my patients.

I am a member of the New Zealandn Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, demonstrating my commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest advancements in gynaecology.

Furthermore, I have furthered my qualifications by obtaining a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2016. This additional expertise allows me to provide comprehensive diagnostic services to my patients.

I am humbled to have been awarded the prestigious Young Gynaecologist Award at the Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG) congress. This recognition highlights my outstanding leadership qualities, research contributions, and commitment to maintaining a high standard of practice.

As a multilingual doctor, I am fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew, and Vietnamese. This ensures effective communication and a comfortable experience for patients from diverse backgrounds.

My areas of expertise include general gynaecology, addressing menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, and fibroids. I also specialize in hysteroscopy for the treatment of submucosal fibroids and endometrial polyps. Additionally, I offer advanced laparoscopy for the treatment of endometriosis, fibroid removal, and laparoscopic hysterectomy.
