Welcome to Christina Tieu Gynaecology, located at Auckland, Ormiston Road, 125. As a highly qualified and experienced gynaecologist, I am dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to women in New Zealand.

Having immigrated from Vietnam at a young age, I have embraced the opportunity to study and practice medicine in New Zealand. With a medical degree completed in 2002 and a specialist degree obtained in New Zealand, I have been proudly serving as a specialist gynaecologist since 2012.

At my private practices, situated at Ormiston Specialist Centre and Crawford Specialist Centre, I offer comprehensive gynaecological services. To ensure the highest level of care, I perform surgeries exclusively at Ormiston Hospital. I am also an affiliated provider for Southern Cross and NIB insurance, welcoming all medical insurances.

In addition to my private practice, I serve as a consultant at Middlemore Hospital and hold the esteemed position of Honorary Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the Auckland School of Medicine. This allows me to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field and provide the most up-to-date treatments and care to my patients.

As a member of the New Zealandn Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, I prioritize the early detection and treatment of gynaecological conditions. In 2016, I furthered my qualifications by obtaining a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

I am incredibly honored to have been awarded the prestigious Young Gynaecologist Award at the Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG) congress. This recognition highlights my outstanding leadership qualities, research contributions, and commitment to maintaining a high standard of practice. It is a testament to my unwavering dedication to excellence in Women's Health.

As a multilingual practitioner, I can communicate fluently in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew, and Vietnamese. This ensures that all patients feel comfortable and understood during their consultations.

My areas of expertise include general gynaecology, addressing concerns such as menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, and fibroids. I am also skilled in hysteroscopy, offering treatments for submucosal fibroids and endometrial polyps. Additionally, I specialize in advanced laparoscopy for the treatment of endometriosis, fibroid removal, and laparoscopic hysterectomy. I am also experienced in diagnosing and treating early gynaecological cancers, including uterine, ovarian, and cervical cancers.
