Maintaining strong connections with the local community is important to us. We participate in the annual Easter Parade, visit Maldon Primary School, utilize the services of the local library, and enjoy visits from various community members.

As a funded kindergarten program, Maldon Preschool proudly displays the Kinder Tick, ensuring families that our program meets recognized standards. Excursions and incursions are integral to our program, allowing children to explore their community and learn about the world around them.

Our preschool features its own vegetable garden, providing opportunities for children to grow, harvest, and cook healthy food. We also offer Bush Kinder, where children experience uninterrupted play in natural settings and learn about local flora and fauna.

Our outdoor play areas are designed to encourage learning and exploration, including a yarn circle, native plantings, a large sandpit, cubby, play equipment, and grassy spaces.

The Y has been delivering Early Learning Programs for over 20 years, and we are passionate about creating safe, fun, and educational environments where children can thrive. We believe in inspiring young people from an early age, and our Early Learning program is the perfect place to start.

Enrolling at Maldon Preschool is made easy with the assistance of our Y Kinders' enrollment team. We offer both 4-year-old and 3-year-old free kindergarten programs, operating as a single mixed age group on specific days and times.
