Grampians Regional Continence Service

Welcome to the Grampians Regional Continence Service (GRCS), located in Ballarat Central, Australia. We are an establishment dedicated to providing health services and support for individuals experiencing bladder or bowel problems.

At GRCS, our multi-disciplinary team of health professionals offers clinical assessment and management for all types of continence issues. Whether you are a man, woman, or child, we are here to offer advice, education, and individualized management plans to help you overcome your challenges. We also provide assistance to carers and other healthcare professionals.

Our service extends to individuals with continence issues who have been diagnosed with a disability. We aim to help consumers and their families effectively manage their continence needs through comprehensive assessments, interventions, and access to continence aids. It is vital that continence is included in the clients' NDIS plan to ensure proper support.

As part of GRCS, we have a Continence Resource Centre that provides clients with information about a wide range of continence products. We also offer bed alarms for hire after assessment.

Anyone experiencing bladder or bowel problems, including those with a disability, can access our services. You can make a self-referral to GRCS through Central Intake by calling 5320 6690. Please note that there may be a waiting period to access our services and the NDIS program.

Based in Ballarat, we cover the Grampians health region, stretching from Bacchus Marsh to the South Australian border. We also conduct outreach clinics in Bacchus Marsh, Ararat, Stawell, Horsham, and Daylesford on a monthly basis. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4.30 pm.
