PolyHigh Community Child Care Centre

Welcome to PolyHigh – Wellington Childcare Centre, a non-profit establishment located in the multicultural community of Wellington, New Zealand. Our centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

At PolyHigh, we understand the importance of a safe and enriching outdoor space for children to explore and play. That's why we have three outdoor areas, including a large shaded playground, where children can engage in physical activities and develop their motor skills.

We also prioritize the nutritional needs of our little ones. Nutritious and healthy meals are provided for lunch, morning tea, and afternoon tea, ensuring that your child receives the necessary fuel to thrive throughout the day.

Our educational programs follow the Ministry of Education Whaariki/Early Childhood Curriculum, providing a comprehensive framework for your child's development. We believe in supporting and challenging children in their early years, allowing them to express themselves creatively, physically, mentally, emotionally, culturally, and spiritually.

At PolyHigh, we have separate programs for children under two and those over two, each led by a qualified team leader. Our learning topics are carefully chosen to stimulate and respond to the children's interests, with age-appropriate activities such as painting, singing, water play, story time, collage, puzzles, musical instruments, and free play.

We are proud to be a part of the Enviroschools program, which promotes sustainability and environmental awareness. Through this program, children learn to plan, design, and implement actions that are important to them and their communities. We believe in building strong relationships and sharing information to create a collective pool of knowledge.

In November 2018, PolyHigh became a Bronze Enviroschool, further showcasing our commitment to creating a sustainable future for our children.
