One of our specialties is our plain adult merino wool scarves, available in white and brown tones. These scarves are not only fashionable but also environmentally-friendly. By consciously choosing natural fibers like merino wool, we reduce our environmental footprint by avoiding the release of microplastics during wash and wear. Additionally, the biodegradable nature of wool contributes less to landfill, making it a sustainable choice.

Established in 1939, Interknit has been a prominent knitting mill in the regional Victorian landscape. We have a strong emphasis on quality production and ethical processes, serving a wide variety of sectors including mining, corporate, schools, and fashion retail. Our rich local history began in Clunes, a small town in rural Victoria, where we purchased the Clunes knitting mill and became the Interknit Hosiery Company.

Wool, the natural fiber we use, is obtained by shearing the coat of sheep, goats, alpacas, or similar animals. It is made of keratin, just like human hair. However, wool also contains lanolin in its natural state, which adds to its unique properties.

With our family-owned location in Ballarat, we have over 20 knitting machines, along with full cut, sew, embroidery, and finishing capabilities. This allows us to produce high-quality products that meet the diverse needs of our customers.
