Welcome to Wingspan North Shore, formerly known as Home and Family Counselling. Located in Auckland on Seaview Avenue, we are an establishment dedicated to providing health services and serving as a point of interest for the community.

At Wingspan, we understand that sometimes all you need is someone who is understanding, caring, and supportive to talk to. That's why we offer affordable counselling services to individuals, couples, and families across Auckland, helping them navigate life's tough situations.

It's important to note that Wingspan is not a crisis center. In cases of immediate danger, please dial 111 and ask for the Police or contact the Mental Health Crisis Team at 0800 800 717.

Our mission is to achieve better mind health for everyone, regardless of their personal circumstances. We believe that nobody should be turned away because they can't afford it. Our registered counsellors are experienced in dealing with all manner of life's problems, and there's no judgment here. Wingspan is solely focused on improving your emotional well-being and relationships.

We believe that everyone deserves happiness and personal calm, even when it feels out of reach and overwhelming. Wherever you are in life and whatever challenges you're facing, we are here to support you. You don't have to go through it alone.

In addition to our individual counseling services, we also offer Youth Programs that teach important skills to 12-18-year-olds. These programs help them effectively manage their emotions and articulate their feelings with confidence, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Due to the growing demand for our services, both at our Central Auckland and North Shore locations, we are working to reduce wait times and ensure that all Aucklanders can access the support they desperately need more quickly. We are committed to improving community wellness by providing a total of counseling sessions and offering affordable sessions for $30 or free.

Professional counseling creates a safe space and helps you reframe the problem so that you can find a way through. When you're in emotional or mental distress, you need help now. That's why our triage team is here to identify those with the most urgent need, whether they are at risk of hurting themselves or others.
