The Improvisors

Welcome to The Improvisors, located at 175 Victoria Street in Wellington, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we specialize in corporate entertainment, training, team building, and facilitation.

Our journey began in 1990 during the first New Zealand International Festival of the Arts. Six talented local actors came together to offer an alternative to the corporate entertainment options available at that time. Drawing on our training and experience in Theatresports, we introduced tailor-made, improvised comedy to conferences, office functions, and product launches across the country.

With an emphasis on team building and problem-solving, we developed an upbeat and exciting approach to training. Our satisfied corporate clientele continues to grow, with hundreds of clients benefiting from our services. In addition to our corporate work, we collaborate with Wallaceville House to bring you our popular improvised Murder Mystery show.

At The Improvisors, we also have a rich history of staging successful seasons of Theatresports and other Improv Comedy at Circa Theatre. We take great pride in our Silver Jubilee celebration and look forward to embracing the challenges and meeting the needs of both our loyal and new clients as we head towards our Golden Jubilee.
