"We held a private dinner party at Artisan for about 40 people. Aside from a couple of miscommunications in the initial stages of arranging the party, there was no faulting the service, food, amenities, facilities, or the staff at the Artisan restaurant. Everything was absolutely perfect. The setup in the room, the help from the staff, the private dining menu, the food quality was really superb (well done to the kitchen team). We've used Artisan 3 times now for private functions, and honestly I see no reason I'd not do it again, and I absolutely can recommend this team and location to anyone looking for a dinner party. Top marks to the whole team at Artisan and the Bolton events coordination team."
"Although the food is ok and the staff are nice, the service is incredibly slow. The weekend buffet is good, definitely nice if you're staying at the hotel and it's included, but I'm not sure it's worth the price. During the week, the breakfast options are a bit more interesting, and I did enjoy the vegan breakfast, but it seems like they get overwhelmed with the crowds (I waited 20 minutes for a bowl of muesli before I had to leave for work). The saving grace is that the staff is really nice and welcoming."
