"We really enjoyed our stay at the NRMA Ballarat Holiday Park. The two bedroom miners cabin we rented was great. Well appointed with nice little touches like tea, coffee and cookies. There was plenty of space- one bedroom with a double bed and the other with 4 bunks. Living and dining room with TV and generous 6 seat table. Kitchen is was good- full size fridge, hot plate and microwave. Note there is no oven or grill, not that we needed it. There are communal BBQs. Linen and towels are included. The children's playgrounds, both indoor and outdoor are amazing! Our kids had so much fun on them. There is also a bouncing pillow and pool. You can also rent ebikes and go karts. The park is walking distance from Sovereign Hill and a 3 minute drive from both Ballarat CBD and the Ballarat Wildlife Park. Walking distance there are Indian, Chinese and Pizza takeaways along with a bottle shop. We highly recommend and would stay again."
"Was a great park, heaters in bathrooms, well set out park. Only drawback was 2 school groups there with upto 80 students between both groups. Kids were playing right next to our van when there was plenty of grass areas with no vans on them"
"Never been to Ballarat before itβs a beautiful place a little cold for us North Queenslanders. The park was great although the caravan site was a little tight for our big van. The prices for the washing machine and dryers were a bit expensive compared to other parks we have stayed. The camp kitchen was excellent and the amenities. Very close to Sovereign Hills. The girls at reception were all very nice and friendly and recommended lots of places to see and eat at."
"Perfectly located park with clean and plentiful amenities. Dog friendly a bonus. The girls at reception were very accommodating and went out of their way to find a suitable site for us after we could not fit into our booked site even though it was heavily booked. Only downside was there was only one dryer working that was in constant use and due to wet weather conditions it was not ideal to use clothesline. Would stay again."
