"Cute place for a catchup. The food was nice, I didn't think the flavour was much, my friend said the same. Especially when you pay good money for meals."

"Cold, rainy morning. Was advised no indoor tables available, another solo customer also turned away. Ordered a coffee, old couple turned up and stated they had no booking, somehow an available table magically appeared. Staff looked sheepish, but when another space became available no one offered to seat me there so I brought it to their attention and stated I knew a table WAS available. Not a massive issue in the grand scheme of things (chai was palatable and hot), but not a welcoming space for new customers."

"Disappointed overall I hate to say despite the good reviews for this place. Service was great although we waited at our table a long time before our waiter first approached us. The food was disappointing. My wife's fritters were only just cooked and my burger was ho hum and lacking flavour. We both felt everything was a bit slapped together without care. Coffee was pretty good although they gave us wrong size and guy at table next to us complained about the taste of his. The worst thing was that they charged a surcharge of 10 percent on the bill. It was a Sunday and when questioned the server said they charged a public holiday surcharge. When we explained it was a Sunday and not a public holiday she just said yeah Sunday so we just paid as it's not going to break us. Think it wasn't our day."

"Food was lovely, when it came, which was an hour after we arrived ! What bothered me most was the awful service from the manager who placed my mum and I on a bench outside with swarming bees. My mother is allergic to bees but she told us we couldn’t sit anywhere else as we had not made a booking, even though there are appeared to be tables free inside and outdoors on the non bee side, and we informed them of my mother’s life threatening allergy. We tried to sit with the bees but gave up when it became quite scary and decided to make our coffees take away until a lovely customer outside suggested we sit down at one of the empty tables in the shade . We asked the manager politely if we could sit down, we’re very reluctantly told we could and then a waitress came up and told us off for drinking coffee from takeaway cups . It was Mother’s Day and busy but still the rudeness and cold service was quite horrible . Would never go back ."

"AMAZING AND ADVENTUROUS EGGS BENEDICT! Had a delicious breakfast here mid October 2022. Not sure what it is about Victoria and Eggs Benedict, but they put some unusual things under their eggs! This time it was Otway ham hock and apple cider Hollandaise, making a very substantial meal. The large latté was good and the service, by Nai, excellent."
