Bendigo's rich history dates back to 1851 when gold was first discovered, attracting a diverse array of cultures and nationalities in search of their fortune. Among these architectural gems is the Black Swan Hotel, a stunning two-storey Victorian premises built in 1873. Situated at the north end of Pall Mall, the hotel stands as a testament to the city's prosperous past. Reviews
"Great place for a drink in Bendigo, loved the ambience and some beautiful old machines as well!"
"Went in with 2 young boys with little expectation on anything. Was a choice of convenience- 2 hungry children= find food asap. What we gor surpassed expectations. The pizzas were fresh, tasty and more-ish, the wine list was considered and local; the barman able to confidently explain his choices (voignier being one that stood out as risque!). The ambience was only slightly killed by the fact that on a Saturday night, the place should be buzzing! If you have a small group- go. Its a place for an impromptu feed with a group, friends meeting for lunch or whatever. Its not fine dining but it definitely will leave a solid mark for Bendigo: simple fare done bloody well"
"Great bar with local wines and beers. They do Pizza which is good. The motorcycle collection is impressive, and they have lounges so you can relax with friends. Cocktails are good"
"Great service, craft beer range is awesome, love the Bendigo lager, best pizza ever - amazing place, I can’t get over the Indian bike memorabilia, an absolute must see!"
"Great relaxed atmosphere, easy to talk to and always willing to chat"
